Lisa Le Fevre is a Research Associate with the Regional Educational Laboratory West (REL West) and the Innovation Studies Program at WestEd. Within REL West, Le Fevre currently coordinates research and technical assistance activities in the Arizona Partnership for Education and Career Success (APECS) alliance focused on cross-sector collaboration and best practices for students’ education and career outcomes. Within the Innovation Studies Program, she conducts research and evaluations of education and workforce development projects and grants, innovation strategies, and collaboration.

During her time at WestEd, Le Fevre has managed grantee monitoring on a U.S. Department of Labor H-1B Technical Skills Training Grant and lead qualitative analysis on evaluations of two Department of Labor Workforce Innovation Grants. Her experience includes developing and conducting qualitative research design and methods, such as surveys and interviews, which draw on her training in social science research methodology. She is skilled in qualitative research methods, data collection and analysis, literature reviews, environmental scans, and disseminating information for diverse audiences.

Le Fevre is also an experienced secondary and postsecondary instructor. Her teaching experiences include instruction for English learner students with professional certification in the field for K-12; working with and understanding the challenges of underserved and vulnerable populations; and social issues and partnerships with community-based learning at the university level.

Le Fevre holds a BA in French from Franklin and Marshall College, a Maîtrise Lettres Modernes from Paris-Sorbonne University (Paris IV), an MA in Journalism and French Studies from New York University, an MS in Education with a focus on TESOL from Long Island University, and an MPhil and PhD in Applied Anthropology from Teachers College, Columbia University.
