Time: 9:06–9:23 a.m. PDT

Location: Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa, Newport Beach, CA

Description: The primary audience for the event is education researchers. The conference accepts proposal submissions from scholars internationally and is held each year in July. The conference is not only a great opportunity to present the findings of the report but also to inspire the audience by sharing REL Southeast’s efforts in knowledge brokerage while working with our local partners.

The REL Southeast 2021-084 report, Effectiveness of Early Literacy Instruction: Summary of 20 Years of Research will be shared and discussed at this event. The goal of this review is to increase awareness and knowledge regarding evidence-based curricula and instructional practices in early literacy. In addition, we will share two other products (an infographic and a fact sheet) that draw from the review.
