On December 9, 2022, REL West will host a working session with partners at the California Department of Education (CDE). During this session, REL West and CDE will review three methods developed by Cook and colleagues (2012) to inform the setting of thresholds on English language proficiency assessments discussed in Session 2, interpret results to come up with a final recommendation to share back with the larger group of CDE colleagues.
