The Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Appalachia hosted a kickoff meeting for a community of practice for professionals, advocates, and educators who support kinship caregivers and grandfamilies across Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. Presenters described that the community of practice would include quarterly meetings to help members develop a shared understanding of the research and evidence-based practices available to help educators support kinship caregivers and grandfamilies.
