Date: November 12, 2021
Location: Virtual
Description: REL Midwest staff facilitated a recorded training webinar and developed a set of materials for students and parents describing career and technical education (CTE) and the opportunities available through CTE. The recorded webinar highlights two exemplary districts from Indiana and Minnesota. Staff from each district described their work in CTE and how they developed their CTE programing. A panel segment was included in the webinar, with input from students, business partners, teachers, and other school staff on the benefits and opportunities available from CTE. REL Midwest developed additional resources to provide information for students and families about CTE, and potential career pathways and opportunities beyond high school.
