Home Resource Partnering to Support English Learner Students in New Mexico: A Continuous Improvement Approach
This video highlights how REL Southwest partnered with the New Mexico Public Education Department to provide educators and leaders at the district and school levels with research-based practices and tools for transforming teaching and learning for the state's English learner students. Through the Southwest English Learners Research Partnership, REL Southwest and state agency staff developed the Promising Practices to Support English Learner Students in New Mexico resource to help districts implement practices to serve New Mexico's English learner population more effectively. The accompanying user guide provides a step-by-step process for selecting, implementing, testing, and refining a change in practice in real time.
