Home Resource Academic Mindsets and Behaviors, Prior Achievement, and the Transition to Middle School
This infographic builds understanding of how positive academic mindsets and behaviors are associated with student success, particularly in the transition to middle school. The infographic presents the findings from a study conducted in Clark County School District that examined the relationship between grade 5 student responses to a district survey on levels of academic mindsets and behaviors and the predicted probability of earning a low GPA (below 2.0) at the end of their first semester of grade 6 (the first year of middle school).
