This video demonstrates how to use the What Works Clearinghouse’s (WWC’s) Reviews of Individual Studies Database to determine whether a particular study is among the thousands reviewed by the WWC. For reviewed studies, you can learn details about the study and its findings, including the WWC rating of the quality of the evidence. The video also shows how to search for studies reviewed by the WWC in a particular topic area such as Literacy, Math, or English Learners; locate studies that can be used as evidence in grant applications or to satisfy evidence requirements under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA); and identify evidence-supported strategies for achieving particular educational improvement goals.
