Postdoctoral Training in Children’s Mathematics Learning

Year: 2010
Name of Institution:
Carnegie Mellon University
Goal: Training
Principal Investigator:
Siegler, Robert
Award Amount: $366,520
Award Period: 5 years
Award Number: R305B100001

Description:

This postdoctoral program trained three fellows on contemporary theories of and methods for studying cognitive development. The program provided fellows with opportunities to actively participate in research that focused on experimental methods for testing interventions to improve learning. Fellows gained experience in identifying key topics for investigation, analyzing data from studies, publishing in journals, presenting at conferences, and writing grant applications.
