Through the Research Networks Focused on Critical Problems of Education Policy and Practice grant program, NCER focuses resources and attention on specific education problems or issues that are a high priority for the Nation and establishes both a structure and process for researchers who are working on these issues to share ideas, build new knowledge, and strengthen their research and dissemination capacity. In Fiscal Year 2023, IES invites applications for:

  • A Network Lead for a new Career and Technical Education (CTE) Research Network. The CTE Research Network will include Research Teams funded by other IES grant competitions.
  • Up to ten Research Teams to join the Digital Learning Platforms (DLPs) to Enable Efficient Education Research Network, SEERNet, which currently includes a Network Lead and five Platform Teams. Applicants can learn more about SEERNet here: https://seernet.org/.
