GENERAL INFORMATION

As a courtesy to other attendees, please switch off or turn to vibrate all devices during all sessions. Please arrive on time for all sessions.

All sessions are on a first come, first serve basis. Please fill the seats in the front to make room for late arrivals. If the session is filled to capacity, please attend your second choice.

REGISTRATION

All registrants of the 2025 Principal Investigators Meeting must check-in at the registration desk located on the Independence Level in the Independence Foyer to pick up your name badge and other conference materials. Onsite registration will be available during registration hours.

Tuesday, January 7

7:30 am – 3:00 pm

 

Wednesday, January 8

7:30 am – 1:00 pm

 

Your name badge is your admission to all sessions and must be worn at all times. If you misplace your badge, you will be required to show a photo ID at the registration desk to obtain a new badge. Please carry your photo ID with you at all times.

MEETING SOLUTIONS DESK

The Meeting Solutions Desk will be located at the registration desk and open during the regular registration hours. The staff at the Meeting Solutions desk will be able to address any questions or concerns that you may have for the duration of the meeting.

PRE-ORDERED MEAL INFORMATION

Box Lunch Selection: If you pre-ordered box lunch meals for Tuesday, January 7th and/or Wednesday, January 8th, you can pick up your meal(s) each day during the meeting lunch break at Regency Ballroom Foyer on the Ballroom level.

SPEAKER READY ROOM

Meeting presenters are welcome to use the Speaker Ready Room located in Regency Office (Ballroom Level) to try out their presentation on the available A/V equipment and to make any necessary last-minute edits to their presentation. A laptop, LCD projector, and screen are available for testing.

SOCIAL MEDIA

We encourage attendees to tweet and post about presentations, interactions, or discussions from the IES PI Meeting using the hashtag #IESPIMtg. You can also share on the PI Meeting mobile app. The live feed from the app can be viewed on the screen located in the Atrium on the ballroom level.

LACTATION ROOM

To accommodate nursing mothers, a lactation room is available for use throughout the meeting. Please visit the Meeting Solution Desk for more information.

EMERGENCY EVACUATION PLAN AND SERVICES

Hyatt Regency Crystal City at Reagan National Airport staff are CPR and AED certified. In the event of an emergency, Fire, Police and EMS will be on the grounds of the Hyatt Regency Crystal City at Reagan National Airport.

In the case of an emergency call 911 immediately, then dial ext. 55 from any house phone. Hotel Security will be made aware of the situation.

Note: For your safety at the conference, please be familiar with the Hotel's Emergency and Evacuation Plan posted throughout the Hotel.

LOST AND FOUND ITEM

The Hotel Safety Services department will maintain lost and found items. To find out if an item has been turned in dial ext. 25 from any house phone.
