The analysis compares these two groups with all undergraduates (excluding foreign students) and with third- or higher generation American undergraduates whose parents were born in the United States. The findings are based on data from the 2007–08 National Postsecondary Student Aid Study (NPSAS:08), a nationally representative sample of more than 100,000 students enrolled in U.S. postsecondary institutions. |
