In this 2026 project, REL Northwest provides training, coaching, and technical support to Tacoma Public Schools to strengthen its middle grades math intervention system. REL Northwest supports district staff in interpreting research on evidence-based Tier II math interventions, improving how screening and diagnostic data are used to identify and monitor students who need additional math support, and planning a pilot-test of the redesigned system for the 2026/27 school year.
