Project Activities
Fellows in this program worked in one of many projects that exposed them to designs relevant to large-scale randomized experiments, meta-analyses, and exploration of factors effecting academic achievement and the development of language, mathematical, and spatial skills. Fellows also presented and published papers, wrote grant proposals, and produced a career development plan.
Key outcomes
As of 2020, Dr. Citkowicz was a senior researcher at the American Institute of Research (AIR), Dr. Engel was an associate professor in the Research and Evaluation Methodology (REM) program the School of Education at the University of Colorado, Bolder, Dr. Jean was a senior research analyst with the Office of Institutional Analysis in the Office of the Provost at the University of Chicago, Dr. Jones was an associate professor of special education at Boston University, Dr. Levine was an assistant professor at the University of Washington, Dr. Rhoads was an associate professor at the University of Connecticut, and Dr. VanHoudnos was a senior machine learning research scientist, CERT Division, at the Software Engineering Institute.
