Supplemental information

Check-in Check-out (CICO) is a widely used behavioral intervention for elementary and middle schools centered on goals, feedback, and communication with parents about daily behavioral performance. This project will develop a prototype platform to streamline and automate the delivery of CICO. The prototype will include an app, a user-friendly interface, and a dashboard to track progress and capture data to test the fidelity of implementation for individual students using the intervention. At the end of Phase I, in a pilot study with 90 teachers and 60 parents, researchers will examine the functionality of the app, how well the app presents information on students who are using the CICO intervention, and how accurately the app captures the fidelity of implementation of the intervention for individual students.
