This partnership works closely with educators in Standing Rock, the Standing Rock Tribal Education Department, and Sitting Bull College to improve student interest in math relevance, math achievement, and cultural identity through project-based learning. Project-based learning is intended to make learning relevant to students and to increase student engagement through collaboration in and outside of school.

This technical support project will provide professional learning supports to help Standing Rock educators build their capacity to develop lesson materials that harness community and cultural knowledge and support student learning.
