Summary

This file contains data for a universe of 2,854 4-year and higher institutions; 2,875 2-year institutions; and 4,272 less-than-2-year institutions in the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and ther outlying areas. The file includes the following data by institution: institution's name, address, telephone number, control, affiliation, levels of awards offered, calendar system, modes of instruction, types of student services, tuition and required fees, and room and board charges. Information is also provided on the admission criteria for entering freshmen and institutional eligibility for student federal financial aid programs.
