This CD-ROM contains data and documentation files for the NAEP 2003, 2005, and 2007 mathematics assessments administered to public school students in Puerto Rico at grades 4 and 8. In 2003, a trial NAEP mathematics assessment was administered in Spanish to public school students at grades 4 and 8 in Puerto Rico. Based on analyses of the 2003 data, changes were made in administration and translation procedures for the 2005 and 2007 NAEP administrations in Puerto Rico. A Data Companion is included on the CD-ROM in electronic portable document format (PDF) that provides information on the contents and use of the data files as well as the assessment design and its implications for analysis. NAEP datasets from 2002 onward require a Tool Kit with the updated NAEPEX. Your organization must apply for and be granted a restricted-use data license in order to obtain these data.
