Summary

Analysis of data from the NAEP 1994 U.S. history and geography assessments found a real, but limited relationship between good study habits and academic performance, for 8th and 12th graders. For 4th graders, the analysis found either positive relationships, no relationship, or a negative relationship--mixed results that are consistent with previous research.
