Summary

An increase in the overall level of educational attainment can reflect the increasing emphasis society places on completing high school and college. Differences in educational attainment by race-ethnicity and sex provide insight into societal changes which indicate fluctuation in the demand for skills and knowledge in the workforce. This is the focus of this indicator of the month.
