Developments in School Finance, 1995 consists of seven papers by presenters from the July 1995 NCES State Data Conference. The presenters are experts in their fields with each one having a unique perspective on emerging issues in school finance. This year the presenters addressed a general interest in why funding disparity persists. Each presenter addressed that question in their paper and there appears to be little likelihood of the disparities quickly being resolved. Only through future presentations and observations of future conference participants might this question be answered.
