Summary

Using CPS data, this 4th annual report to Congress by NCES presents data for 1991 on high school dropout and retention rates. The report also examines high school completion rates. Event, status, and cohort dropout rates will be presented. Dropout trends from the 1960's until present will be examined by race, sex and region.
