This report examines institutional aid awards among students who were enrolled in postsecondary education in 1992-93, using nationally representative data on student financial aid and background characteristics. Features of the institutions that these students attended, as well as characteristics of the students themselves, were examined in relation to the presence and size of institutional aid awards they received.
