Summary

This Statistics in Brief provides an analysis of adults who participated in "work-related courses". According to the 1995 National Household Education Survey's Adult Education component, about 22 percent of the adults sampled had participated in these courses. This report looks at the demographic and occupational characteristics of these participants, instructional providers of the courses, demographic characteristics of nonparticipants, and barriers to participation.
