Summary
This report summarizes the results of a customer survey of current and potential customers of NCES, including education policymakers at the federal, state, and local levels, as well as academic researchers. They were asked about their level of satisfaction with NCES products and services, and about other sources from which they obtain education data. Respondents expressed high levels of satisfaction with the quality and usefulness of NCES publications, reports, and services. Accuracy of the data was top ranked in terms of importance to data users, an area in which NCES achieved high marks. Customer awareness of NCES and product use, however, did vary among customer groups.
