Summary

This working paper addresses selected data quality activities implemented in the NHES:93. The NHES:93 collected information about school readiness and school safety and discipline. In addition the NHES has also included a number of methodological investigations. These have resulted in technical reports and working papers covering diverse topics such as telephone undercoverage bias, proxy reporting, and sampling methods. These working papers and technical reports provide valuable information on ways of improving the NHES and other surveys.
