This DAS will contain information from the base year and first follow-up BPS surveys which will allow data users to further analyze what has happened to students in the first two years after entering postsecondary education. It will include data on enrollment status, persistence in or completion of postsecondary education, intention of and preparation for entry into graduate school, financing postsecondary education, labor force participation both during and after postsecondary enrollment, family development, and civic participation. The release of this DAS will be concurrent with the BPS First Follow-up Descriptive Report, and will include highlights from the report as well as information for obtaining access to and using the system.
