This infographic presented data from a REL Pacific study conducted to help educators and stakeholders on Guahan better understand factors associated with the reading proficiency of their grade 3 students and inform their efforts to improve student outcomes. The study examined demographic characteristics and education experiences of students who took the ACT Aspire Reading assessment in grade 3. The infographic described the characteristics examined in the study and highlighted the main findings. Reflection questions discussed other potential environmental factors that may affect grade 3 reading scores and the possible effects of early education programs.
