This guide is intended to be used as a companion to REL West's Basics of Reviewing a Research Study guide and to help state education agency, school district, and school staff apply concepts of reviewing a research study when selecting high-quality, evidence-based interventions. The guide provides considerations for reviewing four hypothetical studies. The considerations include: study source, study findings, study relevance, and intended use of the information from the study.
