Line art illustration of a desktop with books a pencil and a hand holding them allREL Northwest’s new toolkit provides resources for planning, executing, and sustaining the use of technology to enhance postsecondary student learning. Based on the What Works Clearinghouse practice guide Using Technology to Support Postsecondary Student Learning, the toolkit helps instructors, department heads, and administrators implement strategies to improve digital learning. The toolkit has two main components: institutional implementation guidance, which is designed for postsecondary administrators and a professional learning course, which is designed for staff who provide professional learning for postsecondary instructors. Both the institutional implementation guidance and the professional learning course include resources, templates, and self-assessments.

This handout summarizes the professional learning course and toolkit that provides postsecondary instructors with evidence-based guidance, materials, and activities for using technology to enhance communication, personalized digital resources, self-regulation and feedback, and implementation planning.
