
These resources include a methodological summary and slide deck that describe how REL Appalachia (REL AP) and the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) KDE staff generated statistical models to predict school performance and changes in school performance over time based on the demographic makeup of schools and shifts in these student populations over time. The resources also describe results from quantitative analyses of schools' adjusted school-level gains in grade 3 mathematics and reading performance over five school years, regardless of their starting point with respect to student performance.
