Community Math Nights are designed to engage educators, children, and family members in learning and talking about mathematics, helping family members participate in their child's learning and support their child's academic success. These training materials include a PowerPoint presentation and a facilitator guide to help PreK-8 math educators facilitate a math night focused on mathematics at work, including job talks from community members who use math in their everyday work and hands-on math activities for families. These materials were originally used in fall 2019 by educators at Harts PreK-8 and Omar Elementary School in West Virginia.
