Summary

Equity in STEM requires providing all students with opportunities and access to high-quality learning experiences that integrate STEM domains and affirm their identities, strengths, and cultures. This framework offers an overall view of many characteristics and entry points into creating equitable opportunities to learn in STEM.

The framework was developed though a cross-REL collaboration of the REL Equitable Opportunities to Learn in STEM Leadership Area working group. The working group will continue to build on this framework with complementary resources focused on helping teachers use the framework.
