These training materials include a PowerPoint presentation to develop and deepen participants' understanding of evidence on the effective design and use of performance assessments. The presentation also introduces the Virginia Quality Criteria Review Tool for Performance Assessments and a 4-step process to support implementation of performance assessments in science. This presentation was originally delivered in August 2019 to educators in northern Virginia.
