Directory of Postsecondary Institutions: Volume II: NonDegree-Granting Institutions, 1997

The 1997 Directory of Postsecondary Institutions lists the known universe of 10,001 postsecondary institutions in operation in the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the outlying areas at the close of academic year 1996-97. This publication is printed in two volumes. Volume 2 of the Directory lists the non-degree-granting postsecondary institutions. None of the institutions listed in Volume 2 offer a degree, but many offer graduate or first-professional certificates, postbaccalaureate certificates, 2- but less-than-4-year certificates, or less-than-2-year certificates.
