The Providing Reading Interventions for Students in Middle School (PRISMS) Toolkit contains sustained, high-quality professional learning for educators, including:

  • Tools for teachers to self-assess instructional practices,
  • Online professional learning modules and resources aligned to recommendations in the What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) practice guide, Providing Reading Interventions for Students in Grades 4–9,
  • Advice on how to create and conduct your own professional learning community to support classroom implementation, and
  • School-level supports for administrators and literacy leaders.

This video includes interviews with middle school teachers and faculty from the College of Education at University of Texas at Austin discussing and modeling how the PRISMS Toolkit provides resources and tools for educators who support students reading below grade level in grades 6–8.
