Description: This workshop will build the capacity of teachers in Connecticut's technical high schools to use data for instructional change at the classroom and individual levels, specifically for English learner students. The workshop will strengthen teachers' use of data to understand English learners' levels of English-language acquisition and academic proficiency. Participants will practice using a data-inquiry process with classroom-generated academic data as well as English-language proficiency assessments.

Audience: The primary audience for the workshop are teachers who support English learners in the 17 schools in Connecticut's Technical High School System.
