Description: This is the first of two REL Appalachia webinars on selecting, enhancing, and implementing performance assessments. Facilitators will summarize evidence-based research related to using performance assessments and introduce participants to the Virginia Quality Criteria Review Tool for Performance Assessments. Participants will also learn about coaching materials developed by REL Appalachia to help Virginia science teachers use the Criteria Tool when they administered their own performance assessments in the fall of 2019.
