Description: The Cross-state Collaborative to Support Schools in the Opioid Crisis (CCSSOC) is a group of stakeholders from state and local education agencies, community-based organizations, and universities in Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia focused on addressing trauma-related consequences of the opioid epidemic in schools. In this first meeting, the CCSSOC discussed the purpose and goals of the collaborative, shared information about current initiatives across states to address schools' needs in the opioid crisis, and began prioritizing gaps and unmet needs for exploration by the collaborative.
