Description: This training is the sixth in a series of seven trainings in which representatives from the seven state education agencies in the REL Central region work with their executive leaders to define high-leverage needs, explore data and evidence related to the needs, and identify possible solutions and strategies to address the needs. In the first training, cadre members reviewed the goals of the event series, practiced using some of the protocols that will be used throughout the series, and received direction regarding how to identify and define a high-leverage need. In the second through fifth trainings, cadre members from the seven state education agencies presented their high-leverage needs and received feedback during structured consultation sessions. In this sixth training, REL Central will facilitate reflection on cadre members' experiences in using the protocols and leading improvement initiatives in their agencies. Cadre members will discuss progress and identify key changes in policy and practice. In subgroups organized by theme, they will also refine the strategies and plans for implementation of solutions they developed in response to their high-leverage needs. Finally, cadre members will prepare for the final training, which will include executive leaders from each state education agency.
