This workshop is designed for participants in Maryland's Leading for School Improvement Institute, a series of professional learning and supports for principals of low-performing schools. This workshop will focus on the topic of distributed leadership in turnaround schools. It will address the literature base on distributed leadership, discuss the use of a tool to observe distributed leadership in practice, and share lessons learned from applying distributed leadership practices in turnaround schools.
