Back to School for Mathematics Instructors: Giving Students the Best Start (Part 1)

This video, based on content from three IES practice guides, Improving Mathematical Problem Solving in Grade 4 Through 8, Teaching Math to Young Children, and Organizing Instruction and Study to Improve Student Learning, provides recommendations on how teachers can build students' motivation by focusing on instituting best practices for teaching while addressing students' social and emotional needs upon their re-entry into school.
