This video, based on content from three IES practice guides, Improving Mathematical Problem Solving in Grade 4 Through 8, Teaching Math to Young Children, and Organizing Instruction and Study to Improve Student Learning, suggests best practices for teaching students who are at multiple entry points along the mathematical learning progressions continuum and on ways of leveraging students' different mathematical strengths as resources for learning.
