This presentation explains how Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) integrates Response to Intervention (RtI) with Schoolwide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS). The Horner et al. Team-Initiated Problem Solving (TIPS II) model is discussed and examples of MTSS implementation from Washington state, Mississippi, and Connecticut are provided.
