Evidence-Based Literacy Interventions: REL Southeast Resources for Supporting Reading at Home

Summary

This Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Midwest webinar provided early childhood (PreK - grade 3) educators with effective strategies to help students develop reading skills efficiently during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Literacy experts shared evidence-based strategies that educators can incorporate into their summer and/or end-of-year planning to support students during the 2021/22 school year. In addition, early childhood practitioners presented several strategies they plan to use to support early literacy instruction.
