REL Pacific Event: Supporting Educators in Implementing Reading Across the Content Areas

Description: This webinar will provide an overview of research on strategies to support educators in implementing reading across the content areas for all students, including special populations such as English learners and students with disabilities. This webinar will examine research-based promising practices for implementing these strategies in schools and districts and will feature information on how reading across the content areas is being incorporated into work within the Pacific Region.

Audience: The primary audience for the event will be REL Pacific stakeholders, including state and local education agency and community college staff. A secondary audience is expected to include school and district administrators who are interested in using reading across the content areas strategies to promote improved literacy, including for special populations such as English learner students and students with disabilities.
