Description: We invite you to join a REL Central webinar that will share evidence-based strategies to develop student agency and personalize learning. The webinar will include a discussion of how Legacy High School, in Bismarck, North Dakota, uses a flexible-time system to develop student agency. The discussion will include a review of the findings from a REL Central study that explored how students at Legacy High School used the flexible-time system. Additionally, Suzanne Hiller, an expert on fostering student agency, will discuss how the findings from the REL Central study are connected to the research on student agency. And she will share concrete, evidence-based strategies to develop student agency.

Audience: The primary audience for this webinar includes local education agency personnel, particularly district administrators, principals, teachers, curriculum directors, and other staff responsible for instructional decisions. K–12 leaders interested in how school schedules and structures can support student agency and personalization may find this webinar particularly helpful.
