REL Northwest Event: Oregon Graduation and Postsecondary Success Alliance 2020 Annual Convening

Description: The Oregon Graduation and Postsecondary Success Alliance is a partnership between practitioners and researchers working to improve high school graduation and postsecondary education completion for all Oregonians. At our 2020 annual convening, the keynote speaker will be Kali Thorne Ladd, executive director of KairosPDX, a nonprofit focused on delivering excellent, equitable education to underserved children, their families, and their communities. Following Ladd’s keynote, participants will attend one breakout session of their choice. The three breakout sessions focus on recent research on career and technical education, accelerated learning, and school discipline, respectively.

Audience: In addition to Oregon Graduation and Postsecondary Success Alliance members, all education stakeholders interested in learning about how to support equitable outcomes for Oregon students are welcome to attend.
