Description: The goals of this webinar are for participants to leave with the knowledge and ability to utilize the Integrating Reading Foundations: A Tool for College Instructors of Pre-service Teachers tool in their reading foundations courses for pre-service teachers.

Participants will gain an understanding of how the tool is aligned with the Foundational Skills to Support Reading for Understanding in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade practice guide, receive an overview of the components of the tool, and will be provided with strategies for integrating the tool into their existing reading foundations courses for pre-service teachers.

Research Alliance: Improving Literacy Research Alliance

Audience: The audience for this event will be college instructors of pre-service teachers that are part of the Mississippi Momentum Partnership. The Mississippi Momentum Partnership provides intensive supports related to the teaching of early literacy to faculty from the fifteen public and private Educator Preparation Programs (EPPs) across Mississippi.
