Description: The Cross-REL Rural Education Working Group will present on current REL rural education research and tools. This event will feature nine presentations with a focus on actionable takeaways. The presentations are:

  • Alternative Career Readiness Measures and Rural Districts in Texas (REL Midwest)
  • Using Data from Rural California Middle-Skill Supply and Demand Study (REL West)
  • Self-Study Guide for Career Readiness in Secondary Schools (REL Southwest)
  • Aligning Educational Offerings with Entry-Level Skills for STEM Jobs (REL Mid-Atlantic)
  • The Palau Partnership for the Improvement of Teaching (REL Pacific)
  • Community Math Night Facilitator’s Toolkit (REL Appalachia)
  • Is It Working? Introduction to Program Evaluation and Data Collection in Rural Alaska (REL Northwest)
  • A Toolkit for Assessing Learning Changes After Spring 2020 COVID-19 School Closures (REL Midwest)
  • The Program Evaluation Tool Kit (REL Central)
